Mike Langberg of the San Jose Mercury News has written an excellent article about tomorrow’s Techvangelism conference at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church.
I was especially intrigued by the statement by Steve Johnson (Vice President of the International Bible Society in Colorado Springs) who “sees a shift to ‘a post-literate culture’ where young people don’t respond to any message — religious or otherwise — that’s delivered on paper.” Intriguing.
I would encourage you to go and read the article, and if you’re in the Menlo Park area, why not register for the conference?

I believe that the internet provides today's church with a historic opportunity .... to tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love in ways which could only have been imagined in times past. The objective of this website is to explore the various ways in which today's technology can be used to spread the gospel around the world.
