Strategic Digital Outreach is involved in a number of different web evangelism initiatives in various stages of completion. The following represents a sampling of those initiatives.
Community Websites
We have a two-tiered vision for using the web to help churches and ministries in a local area present the good news of God’s grace to those who have not yet committed their lives to Jesus Christ.
Believing that authentic Christian community is the foundation of all effective outreach (John 17:21-23), our vision begins with a website for believers in a particular locality. This initial website is designed to facilitate community-building across denominational and individual church lines. ChristianCruz is a good example of the first tier of our vision.
The second tier of our vision is the development of a website for unbelievers in a particular locality. Matching a comprehensive resource directory for a county or region with hundreds of profiles of local believers facilitates ongoing contact between believers and unbelievers around common life experiences and interests. More information on this second tier of our strategy can be found in our white paper on the subject: A Strategy For Local Internet Outreach.
PeopleSavers
PeopleSavers are screen savers designed to encourage and facilitate prayer for unreached people groups. A sample PeopleSaver, Pray for the Jula of Mali, is available here. These screen savers are updatable with a simple software application so that new prayer needs for a particular people group can be quickly broadcast to the desktops of all those who have installed the screen saver.
MissionSavers
MissionSavers are screen savers designed to encourage and facilitate prayer for missionaries. These screen savers are updatable so that the missionary can broadcast new prayer requests to the desktops of their friends and supporters through a simple software application. A sample MissionSaver can be downloaded here (a promotional screen saver for InterServe, an international and interdenominational fellowship of Christians committed to each other in partnership and for service to the peoples of South and Central Asia and the Middle East.
Contextualized Websites
Websites which are contextualized for the culture of a particular region or country or for a particular non-Christian religion can be powerful tools for spreading the gospel. We are currently involved in the initial planning stages of websites to be used as the home page of computers in cyber cafes in three different third world countries. Matched with a contextualized website for the dominant religion in those countries, we hope to facilitate the spread of the good news to the most influential members of their societies.
If you have an interest in participating in any of these initiatives in some way, or would just like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

I believe that the internet provides today's church with a historic opportunity .... to tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love in ways which could only have been imagined in times past. The objective of this website is to explore the various ways in which today's technology can be used to spread the gospel around the world.
